Technology Development & Adaptation (TDAP)


KSCSTE has constituted this scheme for technology development and adaptation of demand driven technologies. The objectives of the programme are to provide catalytic support for the development and demonstration of innovative and need based technologies and perfect them, to develop suitable adaptation strategies and to raise such technologies to the level of commercialization. Individual innovators who possess a professional degree (Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent), students of professional technical courses, Scientists/ Researchers from Research Organizations/ Academic Institutions/ Non- Governmental Organizations can apply under this scheme. The project proposals under this Scheme are evaluated by the Technical Committee for TDAP (TC-TDAP). The maximum financial support for each project under this scheme is Rs. 10 lakhs for a maximum duration of 2 years. The financial support from KSCSTE primarily covers prototype development, cost of process equipment or its fabrication/ development, test and evaluation of products, user trials etc. Once the project is approved, a financial sanction order will be issued, subject to certain terms and conditions.

The guidelines provide general information only. KSCSTE reserves the right to review these guidelines and modify them, as and when required. In addition to these, the implementing agency has to follow its own rules and regulations, wherever necessary.
